Evidence of How We Think.

Each case study below follows the same structure: what the experience looked like, what problem existed, what we changed, why it mattered and what the improved experience does differently. Where a result has not been documented by the brand, we do not state one.

01Homepage Optimization

Autobrush

A promotion led mobile homepage was rebuilt around product clarity, review proof and two distinct shopper paths.

The problem we identified

  • The first screen was dominated by a discount block, so a new visitor saw an offer before understanding what the brand actually sells.
  • The product itself was not visible in the opening view, which left mobile shoppers guessing at the category.
  • One generic call to action asked two very different audiences, parents and adults, to take the same next step.

What we changed and why

  • We moved the product range into the opening view so the category is understood before any offer is read.
  • We raised the review volume and rating into the first screen as immediate social proof.
  • We replaced the single button with two clear paths, adults and kids, so each shopper self selects instead of hunting through navigation.
  • We added a short benefit row that answers the first practical questions without requiring a scroll.

How the experience improved

  • The opening screen now explains the product, the credibility and the two available paths in one view.
  • Fewer shoppers need to scroll or use search before they can act, which shortens the route to a collection page.

Conversion and revenue figures are published only when the brand has documented them. Where no documented result exists, this case study describes the reasoning and the change instead.

02Product Page Optimization

Pin Up Secret

A sparse product page was rebuilt into a decision surface with usage context, benefit clarity and a bundle option.

The problem we identified

  • The page opened with a packshot on white, which communicated the object but not the result the customer wants.
  • Benefits, ingredients and usage were buried under tabs, so the reasons to buy were invisible at the moment of decision.
  • There was only one purchase option, so a higher value routine purchase had no route on the page.

What we changed and why

  • We introduced lifestyle context at the top of the page so the product is understood in use.
  • We surfaced attribute tags, review count and three benefit statements above the buy button.
  • We added a clear choice between the single product and a routine set, with the saving stated plainly.
  • We moved stock and delivery expectation next to the price, then reorganised details into scannable sections.

How the experience improved

  • A shopper can now read the outcome, the proof, the price and the delivery expectation without opening a tab.
  • The routine option gives motivated customers a larger basket without pressure tactics.

03Shopify Redesign

Bright Up

A long single column product page was restructured into a sequenced experience that answers questions in the order customers ask them.

The problem we identified

  • Everything lived in one uninterrupted column, so nothing had visual priority and the page felt like documentation.
  • Ingredient science, reviews and related products competed for the same attention with no hierarchy.
  • There was no route from this page into the wider catalogue, so interest ended when the page ended.

What we changed and why

  • We rebuilt the buy box with variant clarity, bundle pricing and a single dominant action.
  • We sequenced the page: frequently bought together, ingredient explanation, customer voices, trending products, brand reasoning, reviews, questions and newsletter.
  • We used the ingredient diagram to make the formulation understandable rather than technical.
  • We closed the page with a support and question block so an unanswered concern does not become an exit.

How the experience improved

  • The page now moves a shopper from curiosity to comparison to confidence in a deliberate order.
  • Cross sell and catalogue discovery are built into the journey instead of sitting in the footer.

The problem we identified

  • The homepage functioned as a lookbook, with large imagery that never named the offer or the next step.
  • Products appeared far down the page, so intent formed with nothing to act on.
  • Trust content and video sat at the bottom where very few visitors reach it.

What we changed and why

  • We rewrote the hero into a positioning statement with a visible primary action.
  • We pulled featured products and price clarity into the second screen.
  • We added a reasons to trust row, category exploration and a quality rationale block before reviews.
  • We grouped written reviews and video testimonials into one credibility sequence, followed by questions and newsletter capture.

How the experience improved

  • Visitors can shop from the second screen instead of scrolling through editorial imagery first.
  • Category exploration replaced an undifferentiated grid, which makes a large catalogue navigable.

05Product Page Optimization

Cetaphil India Concept

A dense clinical product page was rebuilt into a guided decision, ending with a routine builder instead of a single item.

The problem we identified

  • Price, size and rating were separated from the title, so the basic commercial facts required hunting.
  • The size selector was a dropdown, which hides the comparison a customer needs to make.
  • Long clinical paragraphs carried the benefit message that shoppers scan for in seconds.
  • There was no route from one product to the routine it belongs to.

What we changed and why

  • We grouped skin type tags, title, promise, rating, price and size directly under one another.
  • We converted size into visible cards so the value comparison is immediate.
  • We turned claim paragraphs into three checked benefit lines, with a supporting evidence strip under the gallery.
  • We added a complete your routine block with step ordering, so a single purchase can become a considered set.

How the experience improved

  • The commercial decision now sits in one continuous, readable block.
  • The routine builder turns product interest into a considered basket without discount pressure.

06Shopify CRO

Huel Concept

A plain buy box was rebuilt so the benefit, the proof and the saving are visible at the point of decision.

The problem we identified

  • The gallery used a large empty frame, which wasted the most valuable space on a mobile screen.
  • Two reviews were shown as the entire social proof of a well known product.
  • A quantity dropdown and a bare add to cart button gave no reason to act now.
  • There was no statement of what the product does before the price.

What we changed and why

  • We added a bestseller marker and a benefit rail beside the gallery so the product story starts in the image area.
  • We replaced a thin review count with the broader customer base statement supplied by the brand.
  • We wrote three concrete benefit lines above the button, covering carbohydrate release, micronutrients and fibre.
  • We moved price, saving and guarantee into the action itself so the decision is complete in one view.

How the experience improved

  • The buy box now carries the product argument rather than only the transaction.
  • The guarantee sits under the button where hesitation actually occurs.

Conversion and revenue figures are published only when the brand has documented them. Where no documented result exists, this case study describes the reasoning and the change instead.

07Conversion Optimization

TwinPalms Naturals

The mobile first screen was rebuilt so the product promise, the proof and the offer are visible without scrolling.

The problem we identified

  • The opening screen showed an image and a price, with the product promise pushed below the fold.
  • A sale badge carried the entire persuasion, which reads as discounting rather than value.
  • Gallery thumbnails were small and the page gave no sense of who else buys the product.

What we changed and why

  • We wrote a specific promise headline about what the product supports, placed directly under the gallery.
  • We added a compact customer proof row and a fuller thumbnail strip.
  • We restructured pricing so the saving is legible next to the current price.
  • We replaced a generic button label with a single outcome led action.

How the experience improved

  • A mobile visitor now understands the product, the proof and the offer in the first screen.
  • The page argues value instead of relying on a discount badge.

Conversion and revenue figures are published only when the brand has documented them. Where no documented result exists, this case study describes the reasoning and the change instead.

08Ecommerce UX

The problem we identified

  • The opening screen was atmospheric but did not show what a visitor could actually buy.
  • Category access was hidden inside a menu icon, so browsing required an extra deliberate action.
  • Trust content appeared as a long list of statements rather than a scannable signal.

What we changed and why

  • We placed a four tile category grid directly under the header so body wash, shampoo, moisturiser and bundles are one tap away.
  • We used a full range product image so the catalogue is understood immediately.
  • We condensed trust into a single review signal strip.
  • We kept one positioning statement and one primary action, with shipping and returns repeated under it.

How the experience improved

  • Category browsing is now visible instead of hidden behind an icon.
  • The homepage functions as an entry point to the catalogue rather than a brand poster.

Conversion and revenue figures are published only when the brand has documented them. Where no documented result exists, this case study describes the reasoning and the change instead.
